Who Am I And Why Should You Pay Me To Answer Your Questions?
My name is Carma Spence-Pothitt and I'm a naturally creative, information-product-idea generating machine. I have a built-in desire to create, create and create some more. That's why I became a marketing and product development coach -- I figured that would be a great way for me to expel some of this pent-up creativity.
But that's not the only reason why you'll find value in my answers to your questions. I have more than 15 years marketing and public relations experience. I also have more than 20 years experience as a writer and editor. I've been working on Internet projects since 1999 and dabbling in graphic design since 1990. Feel free to peruse my online portfolio.
In addition, I have formal training in training and have trained, tutored and helped people understand new things all my life. In fact, people sometimes just come up to me and ask me things -- even things I don't know anything about!
But Why a Membership Site?
Well, I've found that participating in a structured group or one-on-one coaching relationship doesn't always meet the needs of business owners. Sometimes they only need one question answered or just 20 minutes of laser-focused telephone coaching. But this is not always offered by business coaches. In part, because it can be difficult to administer such a program.
So, I thought, "What if I created a membership site where people could put me on an affordable, monthly retainer and get their questions answered quickly and easily?" I think this concept is a true win-win situation. Each month that you are member, you can ask me any question about information marketing -- be it product development, squeeze pages, list building, branding, autoresponders, blogging -- whatever and I will respond to you within 48 hours (see rule 1 below).
Now, there may be months that you have no questions. But that makes up for those times when you're just bursting with questions. It alls evens out over the long-run.
So, What's the Catch?
O.K. Ya got me. There are a few rules that all members need to follow in order to make this membership site manageable for me and useful for all members.
- I'll only answer submitted questions on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. So, if you ask a question on Wednesday, I'll get to it on Thursday. If you ask a question on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, I'll get to it on Monday. Sound fair?*
- If I've answered the same question before for another member, I'll point you to the webpage where the answer is posted. You can always ask a follow up question if that answer isn't clear.
- If your question is too complicated to ask or answer online, we both reserve the right to request a 20-minute telephone session to get your question answered. This telephone session, which I normally charge $75, will cost you only $29.95 -- that's 60% off my regular price! I schedule telephone sessions on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Well, like I mentioned earlier, not all members ask questions every month. And, questions are often similar or repeated concepts, so I'm able to handle all my members' questions at a reasonable price.
But ... to make sure that stays that way and so members receive the value they deserve, I've got two more rules for this membership site:
- I'm limiting the number of members to 300.
- I reserve the right to change the rules at any time, as long as I give members a 30-day notice.
